Aaron Keith Harris
Ohio Secretary of State
Aaron Keith Harris is the Libertarian candidate for Ohio secretary of state
He is the central committee chairman of the Libertarian Party of Ohio, and serves as the LPO's communications director and as an at-large member of its executive committee.
"I'm running for Ohio Secretary of State because Republicans and Democrats in Columbus have rigged the electoral game in their favor,” says Harris. “We need to end unconstitutional ballot access restrictions, stop restricting voting rights, and make it easier for people to have more choices at the ballot box than just the same two unethical parties who have been running things for 150 years."
Harris, 37, of Fairborn, is a writer and communications consultant, and has worked as a newspaper reporter, a radio news producer and on-hair music host, and a teacher at an inner-city charter high school. He was a reporter-in-residence with Associated Press Jerusalem in 2004, and is one of the world’s foremost critics of bluegrass music.
He has a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wright State University.
